Is this a way to express...

What should be the extent of faith? And it's replications? Sometime people cross ethical borders to express their deep faith. And even resort to kill anyone whom he/she even doesn't know properly. Recently, Panjab was on fire over one of the sects religious leader was attacked in Vienna, Austria. Actually world is a small village now. But, reacting to some incidents occurred in some another country means just madness. After shooting incident took place on Vienna, believers of that sects came on road with lethal weapons in order to attack public property. They torched vehicles and pelted stones. Police personal opened fire at some places to disperse unruly mob. Curfew was imposed to ease the tense situation. But, is this a way to express our anger over pity issue. Yes, I called it a pity issue as faith should not trigger violence in any form. We should not take our religion for granted. Religion is a medium to communicate with your God. But, when your unity, belief prompt you to do something violent for your religion, you simply diminish the worthiness of your feeling for your religion. Your religion, cast and sect never justify killing of any innocent mercilessly to express your anger or love.

पुणे तेथे काय उणे

पुणे तेथे काय उणे असं म्हटलं जातं. यात खोटं ते काहीच नाही. काही दिवसांपूर्वी ऑटोरिक्षा चालकांचा बंद पुणेकरांनी अनुभवला. हा बंद तब्बल चार दिवस चालला. या वेळी रस्त्यांवर उन्हातान्हात बस किंवा ऑटोची वाट बघणाऱ्या सर्वसामान्य पुणेकरांचे मोठे हाल झाले. त्यांच्या मदतीला कोणीच धावून आलं नाही. पुणेकरांचे कैवारी असल्याचं ढोंग करणारं जिल्हा प्रशासन सुद्धा. त्यामुळे या सर्वसामान्य पुणेकर बांधवांची मदत करण्याची भूमिका इतर पुणेकरांनाच घ्यावी लागली. शेवटी एकदाचा बंद मिटला आणि प्रवाशांनी सुटकेचा निःश्‍वास टाकला. ऑटो चालकांनीही आपल्या मागण्या मान्य करून घेतल्या. आता पहिल्या किलोमिटरसाठी प्रवाशांना एक रुपया जास्त द्यावा लागणार आहे. तर त्यानंतरच्या प्रत्येक किलोमिटरचा दर आठ रुपयांनी ठरविण्यात येणार आहे. या निर्णयाचा भूर्दड सर्वसामान्य पुणेकरांच्या खिशाला बसणार आहे. पुण्यात काहीच उणं होत नाही, तर एकदा वाढ म्हटली की ती ठरलेलीच असते, याची प्रतिची यातून आली.
स्मार्ट ऑटो, सिएनजी किंवा एलपीजी सुविधा, रिक्षा भाडे आदी विषयांवरून पुण्याच्या ऑटोरिक्षा संघटना आणि जिल्हा प्रशासनात गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून कमालीचा संघर्ष सुरू आहे. दोन्ही बाजू आपल्या भूमिकेवर ठाम असल्यानं चर्चेचा घोडा काही पुढे सरकरत नसल्याचं दिसून येतं. यातच भर म्हणून की काय जिल्हा प्रशासनानं ऑटोच्या भाड्यात एक रुपयांनी घट करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. हा निर्णय ऑटो चालकांना कदापी मान्य होणार नाही, याची पुरेशी कल्पना प्रशासनाला होती. त्यामुळे पॅट्रोल, डिझेलच्या दरात घट झाल्यानं ऑटोचे दर कमी करण्याची सबब प्रशासनानं पुढं केली. तशी मागणीही काही दिवसांपासून करण्यात येत होती. तर पॅट्रोल, डिझेलच्या दराशी रिक्षा भाड्याला जोडू नये, अशी विनंती ऑटो चालकांनी केली होती. खरे पाहता, तेलाच्या किंमती वाढल्यावर भाड्यात वाढ करणाऱ्या ऑटो चालकांचे हे म्हणने पटण्यासारखे नाही. जिल्हा प्रशासनाच्या कुरघोडीला सडेतोड उत्तर देण्यासाठी ऑटो चालकांनी अखेर बंदाचे हत्यार उपसले. या वेळी ऑटो चालक पुणेकरांना वेठीस धरत असल्याचा कांगावा, प्रशासनानं केला. याचा परिणाम म्हणून ऑटो चालकांची प्रतीमा पुणेकरांच्या नजरेत डळमळीत झाली. तरिही चालकांनी बंद मागे घेतला नाही. आपल्या मागण्यांवर ते ठाम राहिले. चार दिवसांनी झालेल्या तडजोडीच्या बैठकीत त्यांनी बंद मागे घेतला पण रुपया वाढवूनच.

काय म्हणताय आराम सुरू आहे!

पुण्यातल्या अतिप्रतिष्ठित आणि प्रशस्त नगरीत म्हणजेच सदाशिवपेठेत राहणारे आबा तळहातावर चिमुटभर तंबाखू चोळत म्हणाले, आजकाल महागाई फारच वाढलीय. साधा तंबाखू खावा म्हटलं तरी हाताला घाम फुटतो आणि चुन्याचे पैशे वाचतात. असो पैसे वाचतात यांचंच काय ते समाधान. हल्ली महागाई ऐवढी वाढली आहे की बाजारात जावं भोपळा घ्यायला आणि करवंदांच्या आकाराचे बटाटे घेऊन परतावं. यांची भाजी केल्यावरही हीला विचारावं लागतं की भाजी कोणती आहे. आता या महागाईच्या विषयावरही इलेक्‍शन होऊ शकतं, हे कमालच आहे बुबा. म्हणे विकासावर इलेक्‍शन लढविणार. यांच्या बापानं तरी विकास पाहिला होता का? कसला करता पुण्याचा विकास, पार खड्डयातच टाकलेय पुण्याला. एकेकाळी सदाशिव पेठ म्हटली की अवघ्या पुण्याचे दर्शन व्हायचं. आता तर वीस किलोमिटरचा परिसर पालथा घातला तरी पुणं डोळ्यात मावत नाही. आता येवढ्या मोठ्या पुण्याचा विकास करणार, आणि तेही हे चिंधिचोर, राजकारणी. इलेक्‍शन आले की वाड्यांचे उंबरठे घासणारे हे.... यांना काय कळणार सदाशिवपेठी पुणेकरांच्या व्यथा. यांचं काम झालं की हे साधा ओळखीचा हातही वर करीत नाही, की खुशालीही विचारीत नाही. असं म्हणून आबानं तळहातावर उरलेल्या तंबाखूच्या काही काड्या झटकून राहिलेला तंबाखू जिभेखाली सरकवला. तंबाखू आत जाताच त्यांचा चेहरा समाधानाने फुलला. स्वर्गाधिपती इंद्राच्या दरबारात नृत्याचा आनंद लुटत, दारूचा ग्लास तोंडाला लावत बसलेल्या दरबाऱ्यांसारखे आपल्या हात मोडलेल्या मोडक्‍या खूर्चीवर बसत आबा म्हणाले, अरे आपले तासगावचे आबा म्हणे वैशनौदेविला गेले आहे....पवारांना पंतप्रधानांच्या खुर्चीवर बसलेले बघण्यासाठी साकडं घालणार आहे, म्हणे. आता आपले आबा तसे भोळेच म्हणा. त्यांना काय ठाऊक पंतप्रधानपदासाठी कोणकोणत्या देवि-देवतांना साकडे घालावे लागते, ते. ममता, असो की माया, म
ाया असो की जैललीता सर्वांना सारख्याचा ममतेनी माया लावावी लागते...आणि श्रद्धेने नैवद्य द्यावा लागतो. नाहीतर बाजपेयींसारखं व्हायचं. त्यांना काही जमलं नाही, या बायांना कसं नाचवावं ते, अनुभव कमी पडला. पण पवार मात्र करतील बरं का...असं म्हणताच बायकोची हाक कानावर पडली. तिला ओ देतच ते खूर्चीवरून उठले आणि स्वयंपाक घराकडे वळले. आता त्यांची फक्त वाकलेली पाठ.... आणि खाली आलेली मान दिसत होती....

Do faith matters for moderates?

Religious wars have been fought among all major religions and sects across the world to prove their supremacy. Our history has n number of glorious record of all such major and minor wars to showcase bloody may of nonsense means. Such wars between Muslim and Christians have been called Crusades and claimed lives of lacks of innocent people. But, even now the key motive behind gruesome wars remains in mystery. Still, we witness such war like situation in any form all over the world. Even, India is not isolated from such religious confrontation, protest and hetre. Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is one of the notorious leaders, who has instigated stiff tussle between his followers and Sikhs community spread across the world.
Initially, Gurmeet Singh’s objectionable remark relevant to honorable Sikh Guru Govind Singh and showing himself like him irked Sikh community. People from this hardcore community came out on road to register their deep protest. People demanded his immediate arrest and dissolving his math situated in Sisara, Hariyana. At some places his followers and Sikhs came eye ball to eye boll like condition to take on each other with lethal weapons. Panjab government issued his arrest warrant, which prompted him to demand amnesty. Finally, his plea concluded the heated matter. Instead of teaching non-violence to followers, he himself engages into such tussle with hard-core religious people. Some religious committee heads from Sikh community even issued fatwa (religious order mostly give by Muslim community) to kill him at that time. So, from that day he is enjoying thick security cover from his personal bodyguards and government security officers.
Recently, he came to Mumbai for some personal reason where his bodyguard allegedly fired at one protesting Sikh youth. Sensing trouble he immediately rush to his Mysore Math. The youth succumbed to injuries while shifting to nearby hospital. This incident once again filled Sikh community from Maharashtra with anger. People from this community resorted to band and protest, which paralyze normal life in Mumbai. You could see hundreds Sikhs coming out on roads with open sword and Lathis. It was very horrible situation.
Now, crucial question arise that is should faith matters? Yes. But it should be up to some extent. We should not fall pray to someone ill design plans and rumors. And we should not indulge in antisocial activities on the name of religion. Religion teaches us constructing people’s life rather than resort to destruction. And religion doesn’t allow killing of innocent people and putting someone’s life into danger. At least moderates should not get into such undesirable trouble. People recognize us by our decency, morality, attitude and behavior. We are crucial pillars of society. If we cross the line, people would lose faith forever…

Does Bijal Joshi get justice?

Justice means what? Hanging criminal up to death following found guilty of killing someone or putting miscreant behind bars for stealing money or robbery? Could we scale down amount of trauma suffered by victim by awarding stern punishment? The answer is big NO. Gulf countries and China have very stringent laws to punish guilty. But, still they are at receiving end so far as crime is concern. Punishment neither wiped out victim’s pain and agony nor constitute any example in front of society. And one more issue is Do they adjudge these cases very genuinely and award deserving punishment? Then what should be the quantum of punishment for rapping any girl and provoke her to commit suicide. Here more sensation is waiting in the form of crime that is one guy from Ahmedabad allegedly raped his girl friend with his some friends and latter made her to take extreme step. Now, which punishment comes to your mind?
Here is the sensational story of innocent Bijal Joshi from Ahmedabad. Her fault was she loved very intensely to a guy who played with her virginity like toy with some friends on the eve of 31st December in hotel room, where she had been called to celebrate a party. Latter adding more agony to her sufferings, the boy issued death threat to girl to make her to take extreme step. Feeling isolated in the male dominated society the girl-committed suicide. Her family members didn’t understand her pain anymore. They beamed her for her wrong step rather than extending helping hand in distressful situation. And the boy, whom she love a lot and trusted even in drastic eventualities, betrayed her on behest of his friends to make fun on 31st. Do guise regard girls like playing toys? Besides doing such heinous crime, the boy tried to protect his skin from this case but finally court found them guilty to give life term to all of them.
Could this punishment bring back Bijal’s life? Would she be able to spent normal life like other girls? No. How is this possible? Anyone may say. Her married boy friend failed to understand her dedicated love. Only fortunate guise gets such blessing of any girl. Her feelings and emotions specifically for love one would be considered a wrong decision. Society would raise doubts on her genuine character. She leaves this dirty world forever, as she was unable to understand sudden turnaround of circumstances. She was unable to cope up with coming days filled with distress. She left everything for us and said bye forever…

Deepening mystery of Aarushi murder case

Aarushi Talwar’s murder case has been going more and more complicated day by day, as CBI has started investigation to discover the reveling truth behind gruesome murder.
Initially, police department irresponsibly leveled allegation on her father for killing her and their servant consequently at their home. They said that Aarushi and servant were in the objectionable condition when her father knocked her door. But, following public outcry over the way of police handling of case, Central Government handed over it to CBI. Fresh controversies have been added over the couple of weeks. Recently, even her father and Mr. Talwar’s medical assistant (Componder) has been arrested for misguiding investigating team and carrying Kukri at Talwar’s home.
Entire nation has been witnessing murder drama of innocent teenage girl. Fresh chapters have been added to already complicate case, which is hitting news headlines all the days. Days are coming with deep mystery rather then some kind of reveling material. All key persons involved have carrying sizable doubt over their head. That makes investigating team helpless to travel into any direction. Their silence making this case more complicated than ever. Rane supporters stoned Samana office

Recently, Saamana’s corporate office at Pune came under attack by Maharashtra State Revenue Minister Narayan Rane’s supporters following furious article published in Saamana with Rane’s fabricated photo as newly wad bride.
Marathi TV channels showed this incident live by adding more fuel to controversy. Office bearers of Saamana had intimation of possible attack, they called Shivsena workers living in adjoining areas but no one appeared on the spot to save their crucial logistical support once regarded most faithful medium. This incident once again showcase growing dissatisfaction among party workers, those were once ready to do anything as per party high command order.
Rane and Shivsena’s frequent frictions still make lot of noise. Balasaheb Thakare always resorts to filthy language while mentioning him in his addressing. Rane’s undesirable ouster following stiff tussle with Uddhav Thakare prompts this party to raise unnecessary issues to disregard him. Incidentally, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh called Rane newly waded bride in his Congress, which provided golden opportunity to Sena supporters to throw some objectionable remarks over him. They not only carry out news item but also shown him as newly waded bride. Rane supporters irked due to such kind of filthy publicity. They don’t dare to attack Mumbai’s Saamana office but do same thing at Pune where Sena doesn’t have strong workers base. Some Rane supporters burned Saamana newspapers copies and shouted anti-Sena slogans.
I feel that any responsible newspaper should not indulge into such cheap publicity and morality degradation. Inserting cartoon images in news items could be considered acceptable but fabricating photo of any prominent Minister of present Ministry is a shameful act. All media person would condemn it. Saamana has history of such unlawful and immoral printing of news items but still it should not forget that it’s one of the responsible print medias from the state. Otherwise government may come out with stringent law on morality ground. It may restrict freedom of print and electronic media. Like that Rane supporters should raised such issue at higher level instead of rolling out unruly on the street.
