Hats off for hot drinks in flight

Parliamentary panel for on civil aviation has steeped up efforts to get final sue from Central Government over serving liquor in domestic flights. It has tabled an ordinance to allow drinking on domestic tours on the ground that it is allowed in international flights. But, panel’s strong recommendations attribute a potential opportunity for news hungry media person to put up this issue on the forefront.
Hard drinking hasn’t considered very prestigious in our conservative society we don’t have any strong cultural background, which will attribute free hands for this habit. So, most of the people don’t take it lightly. Some even come forward to voice their concerns and try on their best to persuade others not to go for it. It may be because the social stigma associated with this cause. Actually, some habitual drunken take it in large quantity. And after that they make their family life more uncomfortable. They beat up wife, misbehave with other fellows, start feeling like heroes etc. etc. Such eventual behavior following drinking makes others to refrain from it. In most of the cases female family members don’t allow guys to go easily to cherish this dream.
However, except modern society male has dominated drinking passion. If you enter in bars or dance floors, you will witness most of the guys wetting their lips rather than their female counterpart. Drinking woman and girls doesn’t find easy way going in society. People often regard them more advance natured and immature. But, now girls are gradually coming forward to express in this regard. They are more passionate about glass full of bear and whisky. Some time they even ask for burning cigarette with drinks to husband or boyfriend. They too don’t take their desire otherwise. Hesitation has over now.
Now a day, some modern couples feel comfortable to have drinking session in family functions and programmes. Some partygoers deliberately ask for such counter. However, middle class families are fighting in their mind to adhere to new dimension of cultural change. Page 3 parties have been proved an eternal source for this modern culture. Drinking is mandatory there, as it has been considered a status symbol. If you don’t touch glass, you will be treated like backwards. So, adapting makes sense.
We most likely get to see such scenes due to sea change occurred in Indian conservative society due to multinational companies flocking to Indian market and some rich business groups have also reached to other corner of the world in the process of globalization. These company’s not only top executive but also less earned employees love to spend their life in western style. Fashion and adaptable status of mind provoke people to get in this affair. But, still we don’t regard it as a part of our life because somewhere good values have been imbibed in our personality in childhood. We can’t rub them easily over night to match with others.
Parliamentary panel might have taken up this issue due to wide transformation of our society. The argument like fascinating large number of foreign tourist seems to be fill with misconception. Moreover, only rich individuals travel by air. So, having such arrangements in domestic flight doesn’t scare others. We have to come down to this newborn line…
