Dual standards for racial abuse

We have curtain prejudice in our mind. They have inherited from years for our benefits. And we are quite happy to enrich them by our activity or praising and endorsing some nonsense incidents. We feel proud of having something, which others don’t have. And that proud make us vulnerable. Our block mind distance ourselves from reality prevail in society.
It’s quite true that we aren’t ready to eradicate these prejudice instead we come forward to condemned undesirable incidents happens against so called our people. We unanimously come to gather to talk on racial abuse at other parts of the world. Racial abuse against our actors at UK immediately becomes hot topic for discussion. And it gets undue response and subsequent publicity. But we failed to talk about public atrocity against Adivasi and Dalits in our country. Why do we have two parameters for same discrimination? When white people don’t allow us to mix-up with them we feel sorry and get angry. But what will be your perception so far as discrimination at our doorstep happens on an average basis. How do we talk about MR. Bush’s duel stand regarding fight against terrorism?
Female workers of All Assam Adivasi Student’s Association have been stripped on road in full public view by locales at Guwahati in Assam. They were protesting against ill treatment given by some middle class locals while earlier protest. Police remain a mute spectator during entire drama. No one resist unruly people to do so. Nuke girls were running helter and shelter to search cover. And people were still busy to tear their remaining cloths and some to look at their open body parts. Two girls have been killed and as many as 200 injured in clashes. It once again highlighted broader social divide persist in our country. Although we talk lot on this issue to showcase our liberal image, we are hardcore raciest up to certain extent. And this reality directly or indirectly come to fore on certain phenomenon. Do you think that we have right to condemned racial treatment attributed by white people? I don’t think so…
