Adulterated delicious sweets

Next time when you will get down to market to purchase delicious sweets kept in the fascinating, glittering boxes, your experience would not be that much sweet. In the shocking revelation some sweet vender from South Delhi has disclose the genuine truth hidden in the making of sweets. They apparently accepted that most of sweets available in the market contain chemicals, detergents and adulterants. While speaking with media person, they said that they have to mix-up these hazardous items as demand for sweets immediately go up due to festive season. And they have to resort to adulteration of milk even if they know it is not hygienic to health. The profit margin also play very crucial role because people are ready to purchase sweets at any cost. And these materials substantially reduce the cost of production. Sweet’s test doesn’t change even after mix-up. Even daily consumer can’t detect slight distortion in test. And on such festive atmosphere no one bother to mind test and shades.
After viewing such news items the first thing comes to our mind that is where are food and drugs official. They should initiate stern action against such malpractices. Some vender’s are playing with public health for small amount of money. Distributing sweets has been considered as integral part of festivity. Indians love sweets on all occasions. Such illegal trade practices should be close before taking ugly face. Otherwise any other day some innocent life would lost after consuming sweets.
