Marriages made in heaven

Do you believe that marriages made in haven? It has been true so far marriages of Hariyani groom and Keralian brides are concern. It sounds quite strange. But two ends of long Indian terrain meet there for some fortunate life partners.
Boys from Haryana’s Hissar district seem to be too much fascinated to seek life partners from Kerala’s Kannur district, which is most probably thousands of kilometers away. Even girls don’t hesitate to marry unknown person from entirely different region. Distance doesn’t matter when need or some bonds come to fore. Here need plays a vital game for marriage.
This inherited tradition discovered in Hissar district has been going on from so many years. Even elders from this district can’t spell out any concrete details regarding these long lasing bonds. Despite lot of barriers like caste, creed, language, traditions etc. all marriages are successful. No one express concern or raise serious reservations. Both parties come to gather to sort out their differences. And ultimately mutual trust and understanding make their life easier.
However, girls find it extremely difficult to live in totally different situation. Back in Kerala girls ware sari and specks Malayalam. They have to accept Haryana’s dress code that is Salwar Kudata. And as per the tradition they have to cover their face when unknown person comes to home. At the same time learning Hindi is must as everyone speaks in this national language. Even atmosphere plays very fatal game as Haryana remain extreme cold or hot all over the year. Sudden temperature change causes them with health problems. One newly married girl said that one day my husband ask me to bring salt. I brought everything from kitchen except salt, as I was unable to understand his language. Even today I don’t talk to him only hand signs and gesture work as a language.
Marriage in Haryana cost near about 50 thousands rupees and couple of lacks in Kerala. So such marriages have been considered cost saving. And sex ratio in Haryana has been going down to widen fatal gap between number of marriageable male and female. This social stigma resulted in to innovation of distinct tradition. After all we are Indians…we should breaks all barriers…
