What it should be called a similar fate like dad. History repeats itself remain a grim reality. Congress party’s young MP and only heir of ruling Gandhi family Rahul has been leading unfortunate fate like his father Rajiv. Recently arrested JeM ultras has reveled in the police interrogation that they would have kidnapped Rahul while his Amethi visit by garlanding him by grenades. They wanted to release some dreaded terrorist from Indian jail by this kidnapping drama. It highlights the JeM’s change in strategy to target influential people and carrying out suicide attack on sensitive places like national vital installations.
Earlier Rahul was studying and working in US. He was quite happy with his sole bread earner stint and simple life like common man. But his mom paves the way for his eventual entry in Indian politics. In fact, she had to pursued him first to come down to India. She stimulated him to be the part of ruling congress party. He assumed organizational responsibility as a party worker like his father. His father wasn’t that much fortunate to enter in politics in a conductive period. He had to take up his job as Prime Minister immediately after the sudden death of Indira Gandhi. Soniya didn’t want such volatile situation while Rahul’s entry in politics.
But that’s not over for Rahul. Disasters like life threats have been waiting for him. His father was killed in barbaric suicide attack in Tamilnadu. It was a handiwork of LTTE. Had terrorist garlanded Rahul by grenades, it would have been serious situation. They might have killed him rather the putting demands for ransom or terrorist.
