Two big pillars come close

It was a surprise move in state political circle, when Rashtrawadi Congress Party President and Maratha strongman Sharad Pawar drove down to Shivsena supreme Balasaheb Thakare’s resident Matoshree in Mumbai. His first visit created waves over high speculations already exist behind both leaders those are very good friends. Meeting remained close door and only one Sena MP was present at that time. But, it comes to know that Rane occupied entire meeting agenda.
Narayan Rane, the state Revenue Minister, recently fired salvo on Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh over government’s functioning. He has been up in arms following furious entry in Congress. Actually, he was promised Chief Ministership by Congress high command in order to lure him and initiate flutter in Sena. He was gifted Ministry but the crucial promise remain in isolated order. Now, he has seems to be too much active to capture this post by hook or crook. His violent nature caused concerns to two major pillars of state politics. They had to come close to diminish untimely arising of Rane. Both are worried to their sibling’s fortune amidst Rane’s entry in mainstream politics.
Balasaheb Thakare’s son and Sena president Uddhav and Pawar’s daughter were not present in the meeting, which lasted about 90 minutes. While talking to media persons Sanjay Raut, who was present in the crucial meeting, said that it was in political nature. But he rubbished the speculation of Rane threat. He refused to divulge details on the ground that it is not in the interest of both parties. But, some close confident of these leaders hinted the Rane issues.
This development has proved that political observers were wrong to think that Congress Party clipped wings of Rane by putting prominent leader like him in Revenue Ministry. For several months following Kokan election, he was out of circulation. But, his furious come back one again underline the quantum of threat exist in Rane’s capacity. He still has that much power to rewrite any party’s future growth and make things to rock. Through Thakare-Pawar meeting both leader have meticulously flouted a tough message for Congress high commend. Now, Congress has to be more cautious before elevating Rane. Otherwise Congress dissidents and NCP-Sena alliance may come through this untimely adventure. Congress itself is facing stiff resistance from party’s inner circle over Rane.
